Introduction – How to purchase:

To purchase or view the products with a brief description simply browse the catalogue online on the internet website or The products are organized in Categories or Collections (decorative style) always in the left column of the site. Clicking on one of these items will display a brief description of the product; click on the picture or on the title to view the product specifications. Only some of our products can be purchased online. These are easily identified in the catalogue as displayed in a box with a white background; a yellow background displays products on promotion. Products not available for purchase online are identified with a grey background. For more information and prices of the products that cannot be purchased online click on the icon (Product Information request) shown with the product specifications. To purchase items add them to the shopping cart by clicking on the icon (Add item to shopping cart) present on the page of products that can be purchased online:

  • Shopping Cart after adding an item you will see the shopping cart. To change the quantity enter the value in its own box and confirm by clicking on the icon (update). To remove an item from the shopping cart click on the icon (remove). The status of the shopping cart will always be visible at the top of the website. The number of products refers to the items (one of each type) regardless of individual quantity. If you intend to purchase other products select a category or collection and proceed in the same way described above. Otherwise to continue the purchase of the items in the shopping cart click on the icon (continue).
  • Delivery Select the country where the goods will be sent. Below you will see the costs of shipping and insurance for your selection, then to proceed click on the icon (continue). If weight or volume of the items in the shopping cart exceed standard parameters for the country selected you will be invited to request a free estimate of shipping costs with no obligation to purchase.
  • Payment Select preferred form of payment: to proceed at this point click on the icon (continue).
    • Paypal (credit card)
    • Bank Transfer in advance
  • Data Fill in the fields with the requested information and if possible give a certified email address (PEC). If the goods are to be delivered to an address other than the billing address complete the appropriate fields. Otherwise the goods will be delivered to the billing address. To proceed it is necessary to read and accept the terms of sale and the privacy
  • Summary You will receive an order number to use for any further communications about this same order. Make the payment according to the selected method.
    • Bank Transfer - all the information to make a bank transfer will be communicated; to facilitate order fulfillment send the transfer receipt via email to ; use your order number as the subject line of the email message.
    • PayPal click on the icon (pay now) to make payment via PayPal circuit. Then follow the instructions to go back to our website; this is necessary for a correct registration of the payment.

If payment is not received within 10 days of the date of the order the company will automatically cancel the order. The payment is considered confirmation of the order and as total acceptance of all the terms listed and specified below as well as information on transport, delivery and payment of the goods (these introductory statements define integral parts of the current contractual regulations).


The purchase of any and all items requested by the order will be considered complete according to following:

ART. 1 – PURCHASE OFFER By submitting the order to the Ceramiche Torcivia srl company the client has transmitted a purchase offer for the item or items selected. Sending the purchase order implies consent to receive further communications from the company as described below and which will only be finalized at the conclusion and implementation of the sales contract.

ART. 2 – CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT OF AN ORDER Ceramiche Torcivia srl Company will confirm by email or by fax the receipt of orders sent by the customer and assign a “client order number” that is to be used for any further communication with the company.

ART.3 - CANCELLATION OF THE ORDER The customer has 24 hours from the time the online order was placed to inform the company of its possible cancellation by calling: 0921339403 , 0921337067 or by sending an email to

ART.4 - UNAVAILABILITY OF THE ORDER If any of the items ordered are not immediately available from stock the Company will send an email with the necessary information relevant to back ordering (postponement of delivery as the items are retrieved from our warehouse, consignment for delivery, and other pertinent information).

ART.5 – CONSIGNMENT TO THE CARRIER The Ceramiche Torcivia srl Company will then consign the ordered items to the delivery carrier chosen by the Company. The carrier is responsible for completing delivery to the specified address. The goods will be delivered, unless otherwise agreed between the parties, to street level or if overseas, port to port. Shipping costs include insurance. Any damage to the packaging and/or to the items must be immediately claimed and annotated on the carrier’s proof of consignment. Any problems concerning the physical integrity of the items, or concerns that the items received do not match the order, or that the order is incomplete must be reported within seven days of delivery. If the goods are not collected within five working days from the carrier’s warehouse because it was not possible to deliver to the address indicated by the customer, Ceramiche Torcivia srl reserves the right to conclude the transaction. The payment will be collected by the method selected by the customer online at the time of the purchase.

ART.6 – FEES AND FORMS OF PAYMENT All prices of the items listed on the site are in Euros and include taxes. No gift boxes or wrapping are included in the sale. From time to time the prices of the single items shown on the website cancel out and replace the previous ones and if such a change has occurred on our Company website, the prices charged will be those referred to in the Confirmation of the Order, provided that the conditions of the terms addressed below are met. You can choose from the following methods of payment (valid also for UE countries):

  1. PayPal (credit cards, VISA, Mastercard, CartaSi, American Express);
  2. Advanced payment (bank transfer): the customer pays the amount to bank account. Goods will be delivered only after payment has been received.

The goods remain the property of the Company until full payment is received.

ART. 7 – CUSTOMS DUTY AND OTHER TAXES If the delivery is outside of Italy the customer may have to pay customs duty and taxes perhaps higher than in our country. In this case it is important that the customer get all the information necessary from the authorities of his country. When the customer requires delivery to an address other than his own the receipt or bill will be issued to the registered customer using the information given at the time of registration to the website. It may happen that due to a general increase in prices from suppliers, the Company is forced to adjust prices. If prices must be adjusted after an order has already been placed the customer will be informed of the increase before the goods are shipped.

ART. 8 – LIABILITY The company assumes no liability for the inability to provide agreed to conditions of the contract due to “force majeure” circumstances beyond our control of any nature and kind. Examples of “force majeure” circumstances are: measures enforced by public authorities, a strike of company employees, or of the carriers used by the company, as well as any other circumstance which is outside the control of the company. The company assumes no liability for inaccuracies or omissions, for images, descriptions, or any other content of “offsite” web pages connected to our website which may suggest a connection with our company (directly with a link to the producer/distributor website). And the company assumes no liability for problems attributed to third parties regarding the shipment that is intended for free carriage from our warehouse only by those providing proof with a ticket number given to the carrier when the goods are handed over.

ART.9 – OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER Once the purchase procedure is completed the customer is obliged to print and save these General Conditions. All the information provided in this must be read carefully and accepted by the customer before sending purchase order.

ART.10 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL Under article 5 of Legislative Decree n. 185/1999 the customer if for any reason is not satisfied with the purchase made, has the right to terminate the contract and return the products ordered, even if already delivered, without any penalty and without specifying the reason. The right of withdrawal must be exercised by the customer by sending a letter to the Company’s legal and operations office within seven working days of receipt of the goods. This communication may also be sent by telegram, fax or email using the address that is specified on the website but followed by letter within 48 hours after sending the telegram, fax or email. If the withdrawal is carried out in accordance with the above conditions and is accepted in writing by the selling company upon receipt of the returned merchandise the company will credit to the purchaser the amount paid by the accepted payment method. The reimbursement is free and is made as soon as possible and in any case within thirty days from the date on which the company is aware of the customer’s right of withdrawal and the merchandise is returned. Within seven working days from the right of withdrawal the customer must deliver the returned goods to the original shipping address (to the company). The products must be returned undamaged, unused and in original packaging. Under no circumstances will the company accept packages sent with cash on delivery or port assigned.

ART.11 – WARRANTY The company guarantees that the products delivered will be similar to the ones shown in the catalogue keeping in mind that each piece is entirely shaped and decorated by hand. If it were established that an article is broken or missing, that an incorrect article was shipped, or that the shipment does not match the order in some manner, the customer has the right to withdraw the order due to missing items, or to ask for a substitution and/or keep those items that do not match or conform to the order at no additional cost. All communications relative to the above must be sent within three days of the delivery date to the address indicated in the terms of sale and must also include properly documented photographs. The expenses regarding the replacement of an item are paid by the company. The company ensures compliance with all regulations regarding the storage of the products until they are delivered to the carrier and the company is not liable for the products if they are stored in bad conditions or misused. Because Ceramiche Torcivia srl ceramics are made and decorated strictly by hand the product you purchase may vary in decoration, color, or dimension from the item as pictured in the online catalogue on our website. Therefore the pictures shown in the online catalogue are only indicative of the item for sale. Also because the items are handcrafted the item purchased may not be available at the time of the order. In this case the time for production and delivery can vary from 15 to 45 days depending on the shape and decoration. In any case you will be contacted via email. If the product is declared “available” on the website it will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt of payment (subject to the above). Small imperfections represent the assurance that the items are exclusively handmade and therefore they cannot be subject of any dispute.
